If i could trade places with a famous celebrity it would be Bryce Harper. Bryce Harper is a famous baseball player who plays for the Philadelphia Phillies. One reason I say this is because I could play in the World Series because the Phillies are currently in the World Series. It would be so exciting to play in the World Series with someone the best baseball players in the world. Another reason I would want to trade places with Bryce Harper is because I could meet all of the players on the Phillies. I could also get all of those player to sign baseballs so I could keep them. The final reason I would want to switch places with Bryce Harper is because of how much money I would make. I could buy anything in the world I wanted with the $71,000 he makes a day. I could go to a 5 star hotel and have the best dinner I have ever had and probably have money left over.
23 = Best age
If I could be any age for the rest of my life it would be 21 years old. I choose this number because you can have all of the freedoms of being an adult. These freedoms would being able to work for money. With this money you could buy lots of different items because it is your own money and nobody can tell you what you can’t buy. Another reason I want to be this age is because you don’t have parents to control you. Also you will be legally allowed to drive on the roads. This means you can go anywhere your brain can think of. The next reason I want to be this age is that you can buy a house or rent an apartment. This means you don’t have to live at your parents house an you can live anywhere you want. The last reason is that you are in your prime physical state you could do physically demeaning things like run a mile and be perfectly fine.
Disneylands best rides
Being at Disneyland is a surreal experience, it feels like you just stepped into a total different country. Even though all Disneyland rides are amazing some are better than the rest.
One of Disneyland’s best rides is space mountain. One reason I love this ride because of the darkness, when the darkness is there you will never know which turn will happen next. Another reason I love this ride is because of how fast it goes, when the ride is going fast it makes the turns feel much intense. Another one of Disneyland’s best rides is the Matterhorn. One of the reasons it is one the best rides is because of its theme, I like the theme of going on a roller coaster through a mountain. Another thing I like about the Matterhorn is the speed, I like the speed because it make the turns feel more intense and the environment more scary.
RAD READING – September
For September Rad Reading, I read Fast Break by Mike Lupica. This story is about a 12 year old boy named Jason Barnes who lives alone in a rundown apartment named The Pines and whose mom is dead. One day, Jason decided he would try to steal a pair of shoes, but he got caught and was turned in to Child Protective Services (CPS). CPS put him in a foster care home with a married couple named Mr. Lawton and Mrs. Lawton. They send him to a new private school called Belmont Middle School, where he plays on the basketball team and starts to make new friends. The storyline begins focusing on his new life and the challenges that come with it.
What I liked about the book is that it has a very unique story. I say this because it is hard to imagine a 12 year old child living by himself without anyone knowing. I found it interesting what Jason had to do to survive living alone. Another thing I liked about the book is that it blends the elements of the sports genre with the drama genre and it gives the story some variety.“ Something else I liked about the book is that all of the characters felt realistic and could easily be kids at my school.
My favorite character was Tyrese Rice because he is a great friend to Jason and very energetic. One character trait Tyrese has is competitiveness. Before playing a game against Jason’s basketball team the Belmont Bobcats, Jason tells Tyrese that he would wipe the floor with him. In response to Jason’s comment, Tyrese replies, “Keep dreamin’, son.”(pg. 145)
My favorite quote in the book is, “He just wanted to pack his old life into the big duffel bag Mrs. Lawton had brought with them.”(pg. 43) This is my favorite line because it shows how Jason feels about his life at The Pines through a metaphor.
City Spies Universe.
I would love to be able to live in the City Spies universe. I would want to be one of the kid spies, because in real life kids can’t be spies until they turn 18 years old. I could only imagine the things I could do as a spy. It would be magnificent if I could go on any spy missions. I could find information on some of the world most secretive people, like Kim Jong-Un. As a spy I could use all of the top of the line advance spy gear that spies use. Like in the city spies book they have a ultra power computer called Beni. Beni is better in every way than the best windows and apple computers available. Another thing I would love to do in the City Spies universe is learn spy skills. Some examples of spy skills are hacking and being sneaky. If I could learn how to hack I could get the most private data in the world. I could find out any countries plans and secrets, if i could learn some of these spy skills.
My Favorite Meal
The thought of my favorite meal makes my mouth water. The first item on my meal would be a baked potato with butter all over it. Then I would eat a long juicy corn on the cob with the corn covered with butter on all sides. Also on the side would be a bowl of strawberries. The main course would start with 40 slices of beef bulgogi. The bulgogi would lightly marinated and have the slices be small. Then I would have 2 big juicy steaks, cooked medium rare and marinated to perfection. After that I would have my dessert be a Cadbury milk chocolate cake, and my beverage would be a bottle of Fuji water.
My Dream Home
My dream home would be a 2 floor mansion 0.5 miles from Newport Beach. I want this house because I would like living near the beach, so i can go whenever I want. Another reason I want this house is because I always wanted to live in a mansion because of the amount of rooms it has. The first floor would have the kitchen, Living room, dining room, and a basketball court. The kitchen would have a white shining floor with an automatic pizza cooker to the right of the room so I don’t have to cook. I would have a fridge with water and Gatorade to the right. Also the kitchen would be on the left side of the houses. The living room will be to the right of the kitchen and would have a Tv at the top of the room and a couch that can be adjusted to lean back in the back of the room, and a popcorn machine in the top right and top left corners of the room. The basketball court would have a 10 foot rim and a hard maple floor. There is also a basement that has a movie theater with 100’s of seats and a 100 by 100 foot screen. On the second floor I would have a room with 10 cutting edge technology 3d printers so I can print whatever I want. Another room on the second floor would be a room with gear for sports like baseball, basketball, and football. There would be things like Baseball bats of all sizes and weight, and lots of different basketball shoes. Finally outside I have a baseball stadium the bigger than most MLB stadiums with over 10,000 seats, and dugouts bigger than most apartments.
The Bahamas is the Best Vacation Spot
If I could travel anywhere on planet earth it would be the Bahamas. One reason I want to go to the Bahamas is that is has topical weather which sits around 85 in the summer to 70 in the winter. The next reason I want to go to the Bahamas is because there is lots of fun activities to do such as scuba diving. The last reason I want to go to the Bahamas is that it has great beaches such as Nassau and Freeport.
